John Sex

At first, John Sex was an artist doing all the silk screen poster art for Club 57 and other New York downtown venues. He then developed his talent and performance skills at Club 57. He was an amazing performer in the early 80's downtown New York scene who blended dance and rock into visually stunning kitschy Las Vegas spectaculars. Here he is with his python named Delilah that was often included in his cabaret act. I wanted to take a photo of them together and this is what we came up with. He started performing as a male stripper and then went onto become a fun Las Vegas type lounge singer with his sexy backup singers called the Bodacious Ta Ta's. I am happy to have called John a friend. John Sex lives!
