I was at the Howl Festival/Wigstock in 2005 at Tompkins Square Park in the East Village, New York. I used to go to Wigstock every Labour Day weekend in New York. It was a tradition. We all put on our wigs and partied through the day and night. The entertainment at Tompkins Square Park was fun and incredible. A film and CD has been made out of it. It became too big for it’s wig and stopped for a long while, but then it was resurrected through the Howl festival in 2005. I saw this sight and had to photograph it. She/he turned heads and stopped traffic. Always a sign of a job well done.
